People don’t lie down on the ground enough.

Of course, they lie down during summer.  Maybe you’ve seen them in parks or on beaches, perhaps you’ve even done it yourself.

Very rarely, however, does anybody lie down on the ground during winter.  Notable exceptions – making snow angels and that scene in Eternal Sunshine where Kate Winslet and Jim Carrey lie on the frozen lake.

If feels special to lie down on the ground, even indoors.  An alternative perspective on the world is rarely a bad thing.

Why not try lying down somewhere different this winter?

Lie down on your bedroom floor, parallel to, but not on, your bed.  Lie down in the bathroom and leave all the taps running.  Lie down on a travel rug outside one night and look at up the stars (wrap up warm for this one).
