For the past four or five years I’ve been using pens with particularly fine nibs – 0.3mm or below. I’ve been studying maths and found finer pens to be much neater when writing equations, but of course, work seeped into play and I found myself using them for everything.
Recently however, I find myself drawn to thicker nibs – 0.8mm and above. I used to feel that pens like this were ‘common’ and perhaps a little ‘messy’ but now I believe its a mark of confidence to write so broadly.
I wonder if anyone else has made a similar (or indeed the opposite) journey. I’d like to know.
